For the third time in consecutive tournaments - out of towners asked PP & W if they were a "couple" - PP's standard reply is "only when W puts down an excellent dummy". Perhaps it was the comment by W, "I thought I told you to get a haircut before the tournament" that cinched it!

She’s not perfect.. just like us!!! Our esteemed director had not the best of mornings in the Annual Tangiteroria Cup Teams match. Confusion reigned in the Intermediate and Junior sections - AND WE ALL KNOW HOW EASILY BRIDGE PLAYERS GET CONFUSED BY INSTRUCTIONS!

Note for Juniors - if you are claiming that you have "trumped" a trick, make sure you have used a TRUMP to do so… we have all been there so don’t give up!!
