Junior night. Fun, relaxed play suitable for beginners and junior players.  System restriction:  Basic systems only.  Green pen beginner protection.  Slow play.  Noise levels high. Handicap scores in most competitions.  Crib sheets allowed.  Phone-a-friend.  BYO wine.  Finish time 9.45pm at the latest - no new boards started after 9.20pm.

 
Tuesday 19:00 Open Whangarei Bridge Club

All welcome.  Transition for Monday Junior players into junior plus/intermediate level play.  Play finishes around 10pm.  Break for tea/coffee.

Play operates during the first half of the year.  Contact club if looking to play after June.

 
Wednesday 10:00 Open Whangarei Bridge Club

All welcome.  BYO lunch.  Friendly session.  Mainly handicap events.  Suitable for beginners from lessons to transition into and for juniors to join in at the club.  Session finishes around 2pm.

 
Thursday 19:00 Competition Whangarei Bridge Club

Senior night.  Players need to be able to play at tournament speed (6.5 mins per board).  No handicap events.  No formal refreshment break.  Finish time around 10.15pm  As serious as it gets in Whangarei.

All welcome.  BYO lunch.  Day owls who have played before - beware!  No handicap events.  Session finishes around 2.00pm.
