Broome Family Tournament went off, Brmmm Brmmm. A full room - and man were they noisy! - people having a good time have trouble keeping quiet - sorry Olive.

The tournament had everything - great company, great food, even the usual ambulance dash that we have at tournaments (happy to report that Raywyn is recovering well). Is Lee still waiting for the mystery pair from Marton? This tournament is well known for its "Tail End Charlie" prizes - never one to look on the negative side of things, a certain open player sidled up to the sponsor and asked if there was a "Tail End Charlie" prize in the open section. Getting a positive reply the player said " Oh great, I am in with a chance then!
