Playing bridge online

Auckland Bridge Club hosts online bridge sessions most days on BBO. You will need to visit www.bridgebase.com and create a username and password.  BBO is free.  Click on "read more" for information on how to join in.

To join an Auckland session you need a partner also registered with BBO to play with. 

  1. Login to BBO
  2. Where it says Play or Watch Bridge - choose "Competitive"
  3. Click on Free tournaments
  4. Just above the green "entries" tab there is a search function - enter "kiwi"
  5. This should bring you to the Auckland tournaments scheduled relatively soon.  Click on the one you want to join - you need to enter your partner's user name.

You will need to be online just before the start time, and you get whisked to the table when it gets underway.
